We provide complete veterinary care for dogs and cats.
Does my pet need an exam for a Rabies vaccine?
Yes, it is required by law for a licensed Veterinarian to examine and determine your pet is healthy for a Rabies vaccine.
What is Fear Free?

Dr. Bethany Smith is an Elite Fear Free Professional. This is an additional certification Dr. Smith achieved through CE hours and case study. Fear Free providers aim to create a veterinary hospital that tends to the physical and emotional well-being of pets through hands of kindness and compassion. Ask about the Fear Free difference at your next appointment.

Does my pet need an appointment?

Yes, appointments are preferred. Walk-ins will be accommodated as well. We also offer day admission for your convenience. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, we encourage you to call ahead so we can be prepared to triage your pet.

When should I spay/neuter my kitten or puppy?

Dogs: Typically dogs are neutered around six to nine months of age. If you have an adult dog, they can still be neutered. For canines, spay and neuter recommendations vary based upon breed and size of pet. Dr. Smith will provide you with recommendations based upon the individual patient during an exam.

Cats: Kittens can be spayed or neutered as young as six months old.

Do you accept pet insurance?

Yes, we do!

We accept all forms of pet insurance and will work with you to complete the claims process. We still collect the amount upfront and your insurance will reimburse you for charges based on your insurance plan. Not all insurances offer the same coverage and we encourage you to look through several to find a plan that fits your needs. See our helpful links page for specific companies we have worked with.
